After 48 years of service to the Jossi Group, Edi Michel is retiring.
Edi Michel was one of the most important comrades-in-arms of company founder Hans Jossi. He joined the company in 1961 as its third apprentice and has since played a decisive role in shaping its successful growth. Edi Michel was a shining example for everything we understand by the term “customer focus”.
Mr Michel has been succeeded by Andreas Meyenhofer. The 50-year-old engineer, who has a university degree and an MBA diploma, joined Jossi Ltd. in 1994. He was responsible for expanding the Design&Development group, which now employs 15 engineers and serves all the various companies within the Jossi Group.
In 2007, Mr Meyenhofer was appointed head of a task force whose objective was to spin off Jossi Orthopedics Ltd. as an independent company. Since its establishment, he has been responsible for the “Technology & Marketing” business area.
